Done Painting!

I finally finished painting the sewing room!  I completed all the trim work this morning and my husband rearranged the furniture for me just a bit ago.  I am so excited!  I’ve started organizing into the cabinets and I need to build my bookcase that I bought at IKEA. Then I’ll unpack a few boxes of fabric and sewing supplies, get my sewing machine set up & I’ll be ready to go! My daughter picked out the greenish color on the lower part of the wall, she said I needed a “calming” color! Here are before & after pictures.

    Thanks Molly! I myself can’t get over the difference. When the room was pink, I couldn’t even bring myself to go in there. Now I find myself drifting in there for no reason. I got my sewing maching put into the cabinet this afternoon, so I am getting closer to being able to sew! YAY!

    Thanks Elizabeth! I just need to get the rest of the boxes unpacked in there and organize the closet and I’ll be ready to sew. Although, I’m not sure I can wait that long to get going! The quilt on the bed was made by my Mom, an avid and excellent quilter. She has made every quilt in my home except for one that was made by my sister. She did help me make for first quilt, a baby quilt, a month ago and I think I may be hooked. I haven’t tried making one on my own yet though!
