Yard Art

Yard Art

I have decided that rather than remove the plants by my driveway that suffered heat damage during out heat wave in August, I am going to use yard art to disguise them.  These plants are not dead, they are damaged and are trying to come back to a healthier state.  By spring they will be just fine.

To begin with, my sister had sent me a surprise gift of a yard flag.  I was thrilled!  Today I found a flag holder that I really liked, bought it and used it to start my disguise.  I am in search of some additional tasteful fall yard art that I will add to the area to distract from the plants that the Homeowner’s Association is not happy with.  I will update with pictures as I add to the area in question.

Here is my first addition and thanks go to my sister Grace for sending me the flag!

Well, I told Jerry that I was going to put a sign out there that said the plants were NOT dead, but I remembered the Welcome flag you sent and thought that was a better way to go! :-D

Well Laurie, I am sort of cheap, so unless a plant is truly dead, I won’t be pulling it out of the ground! You could say I’m an optimist! LOL
