The Sewing Mom

I am so bummed!  My two sisters are with my Mom and they have spent the past few days visiting quilt shops between Cincinnati and Northern Indiana.  They are finding all sorts of wonderful quilts and projects to make.  It seems that when I call one of them, I find them at the fabric cutting counter! 

Today, they were at a store in Wabash and they were buying fabric.  The store was having a sale, buy one fabric get a 2nd yard for a penny!  That’s as good as half price and let me say, good quality cotton fabric that is used in quilts is not cheap, so that was an awesome sale! 

My one sister is looking for a particular bag pattern, it’s called a lantern bag.  I’m not sure what it looks like, but she’s on a hunt for it.  She said it’s a great looking bag, she saw a sample of one in Cincinnati.  That store was sold out of the pattern, so she’s been looking for it ever since.  Knowing her, she’ll find it!   Either way, I wish I was with them!
