Tooth ache!

Tooth ache!

Since we moved I’ve been trying so hard to find a new dentist that is covered under our insurance, not an easy task. I have a fear of dentists as a result of childhood tooth problems which is why I have an even harder time finding a dentist that I feel comfortable going to see.

Several years ago, after not seeing a dentist for way too long of a period, I had a filling fall out. The whole filling didn’t come out, just a portion of it, but enough that I knew what it was and it was very uncomfortable. I didn’t have a dentist at the time and so had to find one. Then I had to wait for an appointment, all the while hoping the rest of my filling didn’t fall out. It made it difficult to eat or drink because of the pain. I wish I would’ve had Dentemp OS which is a 60 minute solution that would have provided me with temporary relief. This temporary dental repair would have prevented my pain and the embarrassment of not being able to eat or drink properly.

Dentemp OS has several important features:

  1. It was developed by a dentist to provide fast, temporary relief of pain and discomfort.
  2. It’s easy.  It comes ready to use, no mixing, no mess.  Plus, each vial has 6 applications!
  3. It is a dental first aid.  It replaces lost fillings and can be used to temporarily cement loose crowns.
  4. It is strong.  You can eat after just 30 minutes following application.
  5. It is FDA approved.  It has been tested and complies with FDA regulations for oral care.

Dentemp OS is carried in most major drugstore chains as well as some smaller drug stores around the country and also is available in Canada.  It’s very easy to get and very easy to use.  It will save me a lot of pain and distress the next time I lose a filling.

Texas State Fair 2007

My daughter brought home a free student ticket to the Texas State Fair from school.  I didn’t really think much about it, but, I guess they’ve really been talking about it at school and telling the kids how much fun it is to go.  My daughter came home today all excited about it, even telling me that the Jonas Brothers are going to be playing at the fair.  Now, if you don’t know who the Jonas Brothers are then I’d have to say that nobody in your household ever watches the Disney channel!

So, I am sort of thinking about the possibility of going.  I went to the fair many years ago and remember seeing Big Tex (a huge make believe Texan who oversees the fair every year).  The only problem is that my husband is heading overseas tomorrow and will be gone for the next two weeks.  So, if we’re going to the fair it will have to be just me & my daughter, just the two of us.   School is out for a 4 day weekend, so gives me time to think about it and maybe go.

Electronics Batteries

Do you ever wonder what you’ll do when one of your many electronics has a dead battery that won’t recharge? You know, it does happen, even rechargeable batteries eventually die or become damaged. I know my previous laptop always had to be plugged in because the battery just wouldn’t hold a charge. Sort of defeated the purpose of my having a laptop!

To purchase a new battery though you have to know where to go and remember to take your old battery with you so you can attempt to match it up and buy the correct replacement. For those of us who can’t remember to do that and who are intimidated in big electronics stores, there is a much easier way. Whether you’re looking to buy laptop batteries , cell phone batteries, or video camera batteries, you can order them online and save yourself all the headache. You don’t have to haul your old battery around, just go to your computer and order its replacement.

I love online shopping, it’s made my life so much easier! And, with today’s gas prices, it saves me money too, I don’t have to run around trying to find these hard to find items.

Annie Lennox

Wow!  Annie Lennox is on The View right now and looks good for having been around as long as she has!  I can’t believe she has two teenage daughters!  I just always remember hearing her music in the ’80′s when we’d be out at clubs, hard to imagine it was so long ago.  She just put out a new CD and is singing a very sad song from it on the show, this is NOT a song you would be dancing to!

Blog Review

I just viewed an interesting blog, Josh Greene which talks mostly about blogging, technology and e-marketing. His posts are interesting and short, sometimes maybe too short? He does talk about some worthwhile information, particularly for bloggers and has blogging tips, but tends to quote many other authors rather than writing from his own viewpoint and using his own knowledge. He tends to have links in all of his posts although I’m not sure if these are all paid posts or not as I did not see any disclosure on the site. His site design is clean and simple, very easy to follow.

This site has a lot of potential and I will be checking back often. I hope he will share more information of his own about the ins and outs of blogging and online marketing.
