Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A very dear friend of mine has been diagnosed with breast cancer, for the second time. To her, I dedicate this post. (this is NOT a sponsored post)

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Early detection of breast cancer is saving lives, thousands of lives. Even more can be saved simply by getting mammograms. Unfortunately, there are many women who do not have health insurance or cannot afford to pay for a mammogram. We can all help. Just click. Click and sponsors pay for a mammogram. The more clicks, the more mammograms that are provided to those who can’t afford one. Come back and click daily, you’ll find the pink ribbon in my sidebar.

Click here for an easy and free way to help fund mammograms for those in need at The Breast Cancer Site!

To help spread the word about breast cancer, Casio and 5 Minutes for Mom are sponsoring a contest to win a Casio special edition pink EX-Z75 digital camera. This is a simple contest to enter while brining awareness to the issue of breast cancer.  Take a look, click, and help another woman get her mammorgram!
