Weight Loss Surgery

As I am growing older I find it harder and harder to keep weight off and once it’s on, I find it more difficult to lose than when I was younger. Fortunately for me, at this point in my life, I’m only a little over my optimal weight, but who knows what the future holds. If I keep eating Klondikes and milk shakes I may have more of a weight issue a few years from now.

If I were in need of obesity surgery I could get myself evaluated to see if Lap Band was a solution. If I needed it I would find an experienced surgeon with extensive aftercare specifically tailored to my needs. Follow-up could include support groups and group forums as well as recipes and nutritional education to keep me healthy and give me a better quality of life.

I have to think surgery is a very last option, although I can see surgery to get rid of extra skin.

Once upon a time, I weighed 98 pounds.
    Yup, me, 98lbs.
Then I got married, had a kid, and my hips expanded and the wight went on, and I’ve never been able to get rid of it.
    *sigh*
I’d have to starve myself to get down to 115…LOL
