This has been in the news the past few days and I find it really disheartening. [tag]Hannah Montana[/tag] tickets went on sale the other day and were completely sold out in a matter of minutes. Who bought those tickets? Well, obviously not her fans since the majority of the tickets seem to have wound up on scalper websites. I know this isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time this happens, but come on, this is a kid star doing a concert for an audience of kids! Even Hannah herself stated that her concert is awesome but not worth what the scalpers are asking. She and her management have even opened up more seating in all of the arenas where she will be visiting in an effort to get more tickets into her fans hands.
I don’t really care to go see Hannah Montana personally, but there are other concerts that I wouldn’t mind seeing. Unfortunately, by the time I remember to check on [tag]buying tickets[/tag] they’re sold out. Some of those tickets went to legitimate ticket sellers. In cases of [tag]sold out tickets[/tag] I do expect to pay more, but I can still get good seats for great shows, even Hannah Montana!

This dog just cracks me up! I swear she knows what the [tag]camera[/tag] is and poses. I just got out the camera, she picked up her “dragonfly”, walked over and sat down in this pose! I just had to share this photo.

I’ve talked about this before but it is worth talking about again. How are you saving money for your kids’ [tag]college education[/tag]? We have a couple of different savings accounts, but with the cost of college educations skyrocketing, I worry that we won’t have enough saved, no matter what we do. I do expect that my daughter will get a [tag]scholarship[/tag] or two to help with the cost, but that is certainly not something I can rely on now.
I just saw this promotion from [tag]Proctor & Gamble[/tag] (PGP) and wanted to share it. Enter the [tag]sweepstakes[/tag] and you can win $50,000 to apply towards your child’s college education. The only thing you have to do is watch [tag]As the World Turns[/tag] and [tag]The Guiding Light[/tag] November 12th, 14th and 16th and make a note of which character spoke the opening line of the show. Then enter the $50,000 College Education Sweepstakes by November 21.
This is a piece of cake, think I need to write those dates on my calendar so I remember to watch and enter!

A tour bus driver is driving with a bus load of seniors down a highway when he is tapped on his shoulder by a little old lady. She offers him a handful of peanuts which he gratefully munches up.
After about 15 minutes, she taps him on his shoulder again and she hands him another handful of peanuts.
She repeats this gesture about five more times. When she is about to hand him another batch again he asks the little old lady, ‘Why don’t you eat the peanuts yourself?’.
‘We can’t chew them because we’ve no teeth’, she replied.
The puzzled driver asks, ‘Why do you buy them then?’
The old lady replied, ‘We just love the chocolate around them.’
It pays to be careful around old people

I just would like to share this.
With the help of my daughter’s expertise with Littlest Pet Shop, I submitted an article to Associated Content reviewing the Littlest Pet Shop’s newest addition which is the VIP toy and it’s introduction to the virtual world. This may be a hot item for Christmas, so you may want to check it out! Let me know what you think. (this is NOT a sponsored post)
