Calm at Last

I gave my Destination Imagination presentation to the PTA tonight, everyone, including my daughter, tells me it went fine.  I felt like my voice was shaking and I couldn’t breath!  One of the teachers who has so graciously offered to help me with this program, worked the powerpoint presentation for me so I just had to talk.  I was so glad to have someone standing next to me!

Now we have to wait, and hope that at least a few parents will sign up to be Team Managers so that we can create more teams.  I intend to manage (coach) a 6th grade team and tryouts are actually next week.  We’d like to see a team or two from the younger grades so this program will continue even after this year.  Next year my daughter will be in Junior High so I will be moving on as well.

Now on to the next step, I have to create a presentation to present to give to the 6th grade by Friday morning!  Well, hopefully I can get some sleep tonight and relax before tackling that project.  My daughter has agreed to help and I’m going to have her be a part of the presentation, she loves speaking in public while I hate it!  Okay, I’ve exhausted myself today, see you all tomorrow!  :-D
