My husband made it home from the Orient yesterday after being gone for over 2 weeks. It was a very full trip for him, I think he was in seven different cities and visited with 12 different plants to meet people who work for him that he has never met before. He also had meetings with each country’s customs officials since he is in charge of all of the export compliance for each of those plants. He said it was very productive, but exhausting.

He did have one day last week when he was able to get out and do a bit of shopping. He brought home a duffel bag full of trinkets for my daughter, she was thrilled with each item, no matter what it was. He had everything from a box of chopsticks to beautiful silk pajamas which she wore to bed last night. She was so excited to see him, it wouldn’t have mattered if he hadn’t brought her anything.

He brought me a little something too, from a jeweler outside of Hong Kong. I’ve had trouble getting a good picture of it, but I hope you can see it. The band is 14k gold and the stones are diamonds and jade. I am really enjoying it and it fits perfectly!
