Proceeds from PPP

To those of you who subscribe to and read my site via RSS feed, I apologize for posting so much lately.  There has just been so much going on and I enjoy sharing it on my site.  I’ve also had quite a number of really decent opportunities for paid posts in the past week, perhaps because I finally have a PR, but it’s been difficult for me to not take those opportunities.  Because I know I have some loyal friends and readers here I want to show you what I used my PPP money for that I earned in October.  I also want to say that it felt really good to see the look on my husband’s face today when I was able to pay for this on my own.  Maybe now he won’t roll his eyes quite so much when I am typing away on my computer.

By the way, I am currently working on another site.  It’s having some technical issues, but I’m hoping to get it up and running smoothly soon.  Once it’s qualified, I won’t have to do so many paid posts on this site.  I hope you all can be patient with me.

So, here is what I bought today at a fabulous price.  I am very excited about it and love it in our kitchen.  Our previous table looked great in our previous house, but seemed too small for this kitchen.  Tonight we moved the old one upstairs to become a game table in the game/t.v. room.  The new table has a total of six chairs, there are only four in the picture, the other two we have set by the island in the kitchen.  Also, at the bottom of the table is a hidden drawer for storage.  The table leaf is folded and stored inside the table itself which I think is very cool.

Woo Hoo something real to show for your hard work.

I might start a separate site too, I am getting a little concious that I may end up doing too many paid reviews.

I have about 5 posts waiting approval but hopefully soon I’ll actually see some momey for my hard work too :)

Wow! What a totally cool table! I love the drawers underneath and of course the leaves that fold out. Very Nice. Thanksgiving dinner at your place this year? :)

Sometimes it takes them a while to approve, but no fear, you’ll get paid in 30 days. I wish I’d started my second site sooner so it would be ready to go for ppp, but I have to go through the 90 day waiting period again. Oh well. I just hope I don’t lose readers while I’m waiting!

Chris – Thanks! I love getting new furniture, I just keep staring at it! We ate our left over pizza sitting at the table last night, I’ll have to cook a real meal for dinner tonight to put it to a true test. I was hoping to go away for Thanksgiving, but maybe my table needs to be used that day too! :-)

I changed my domain over from blogspot just before the last PR update so I have PR=0 at the moment which limits the opportunities at PPP. I guess even if set up a new blog for PPP I would still have to wait another 90days odd for a new PR update?

I like your new table. It’s so functional and meals always taste nicer when you are eating on new or favorite table, have a new table runner or whatever that gives us reason to smile. Have you seen my latest dining set project which I sew?

faiah – Thanks, we like it too. We ate our first real meal sitting at the new table last night and it was very nice. I’m also glad we purchased extra chairs so I now have two of them by the kitchen island and we use them all the time.

Lissie – I know what you mean. The whole PR update thing is a nightmare. I have another site and who knows how long it will be before it gets a PR. It makes it difficult too when you change your domain. Hopefully the new Argus will help at PPP.

Tammie, Thanks! We really are happy with our purchase and it was nice to have the cash to pay for it, makes me feel I’m contributing again!

I like those chairs. The dark and the light contrasting makes for an awesome visual effect in your dining room. Also, the table itself looks great! Is it square or rectangle? Taryn and I want to get a kitchen table that is square and can seat two on each side. They have some like that at Pier One, but there really isn’t any need to save up for it right now. We have some other things to pay for…like a wedding!

It’s rectangular in shape. When the leaf is out is a very large square. Without the leaf we can seat 6 comfortably, you just need to bring Taryn over for dinner! :-D
