I was thinking so much about our little dog Plinko this morning that I thought I needed to post a picture of her.  For anyone following her growth (Robyn), she is now 21 lbs and about 13 inches tall.  She’s 5 1/2 months old and thankfully beyone the potty training stage, finally!  It’s been almost two weeks since our last potty accident in the house.  It has helped that it’s been cool enough for me to leave the door open for her to go in and out.  My proudest moment though was the other day when the door was closed and she scratched at it to get out.  YAY!

    Congrats on Plinko’s potty training success! I still remember the days that we potty trained our 2 yellow labs. It was tough. Your dog is so adorable. My 3 year old daughter is right next to me now & looking at Plinko’s picture and she is saying “Cute Puppy!”

    You dog is a doll! I love your story about what she eats; pants. We dont have a dog but we have a cat; she likes to eat plastic and also lick the sticky side of envelopes. I can never leave paper or plastic anything on the floors!

    Thanks Hippymommy, it was the longest 4 months of training. I went through an awful lot of paper towels cleaning up those messes and I’m sure glad it’s over with. At least I think it is!

    I’m glad you came back for a visit Corrin! Yes, Plinko has definitely grown and I think she’s still doing it! She eats like a horse, I gave up buying the smaller bags of dog food and today bought a 20lb. bag, that will hopefully last her a month at least.

    Chris – I guess an envelope licking cat could come in handy if you’re ever doing a mass mailing! We have to keep things picked up around here too. When we think we’ve got everything, she still finds something! I equate it to having a toddler in the house. :-D

    Hooray for potty training!! It took our dog Penny forever, but mostly because the previous owner was training for using those puppy pads and I wanted her to go outside, it took forever to get her to stop peeing in front of the door!

    Loretta, I don’t know about those puppy pads, there must be a good reason to use them, I just can’t think of one! I think they send the wrong message to the dog and it confuses them. I’m just glad she’s finally trained!
