Travel to Spain

There has been so much talk about travel lately it’s bringing back memories from when I was in high school. My parents were living overseas and I used to fly to meet them for holidays. One Christmas I met them in Spain, I think I was a freshman in high school. I wasn’t really feeling well and it was a bit cold and damp while we were there, not one of my better memories, but I would like to go back. I think there would be quite a bit to see and do there.

I would like to take my daughter to Europe someday and Spain would definitely be on the agenda. There are hotels in Madrid that are great for families and close to tourist attractions like the botanical gardens or even the Royal Palace. My daughter loves learning history and I know she would find the palace fascinating. We could also find hotels in Barcelona that would give us the opportunity to see the Gothic Quarter and La Boqueria. I know I didn’t go to Barcelona when I was there with my parents so this would be a new experience for all of us.

Basically, anywhere we want to go and anything we would want to see, there are plenty of hotels in Spain to choose from. It’s not a really large country, but there is so much history and there are so many things to see and do. I would look forward to a trip like this.
