What’s for Dinner?

What’s for Dinner?

Since it’s cooled off somewhat finally and feels like fall, I’ve started cooking some things that always make us feel good, like beef stew and tortellini soup.  Tonight I’m making a pot roast in the crock pot with potatoes and carrots.  I can smell it and it’s making me so hungry.  I’ve got at least 3 hours before dinner though so I’m going to have to suck it up!

What are you having for dinner?

Me too! I’ve made stew and chili and home baked cookies, and all kinds of cool weather stuff. I love it! Definitely makes one know the meaning of “comfort food”. ;)

Leigh – I think cooler weather is synonomous with comfort food, don’t you? I love smelling it while it’s cooking too, really does take me “home”.
