Christmas Shopping

7th November 2007

I just returned from the mall, pretty much empty handed with the exception of a few little stocking stuffers I found. We don’t have a huge Christmas list, but there are a few individuals on our list that are difficult to buy for such as my mother-in-law. I have no idea what she wants or needs. What makes it worse is that she won’t actually tell you what she wants or needs. I could give her a pair of 5.11 Tactical boots and she’d be delighted, even though she would absolutely never wear them. It drives me nuts when I don’t know what to buy someone. I don’t want to get them something they’re just going to stick in a closet and forget about.

Why is it so difficult for people to just let you know when they like something or need something? Personally, I have no trouble doing this!
