Texas Weather

I can’t figure out if Fall is coming or going.  The past two days we’ve had highs in the 60’s, very Fallish.  Today, we’re back in the 70’s and this weekend we’ll be back up in the 80’s.  It is November isn’t it?

I was in a department store yesterday and I saw rack after rack of big, heavy winter coats, gloves and hats.  I had to wonder who is buying this stuff around here?  I have a feeling that if I want a new coat I can wait a while and I’ll be finding really good deals on all those coats and accessories I saw yesterday!

Our temperatures here in Apache Junction, Arizona are in the mid-nineties! It may be back in the eighties today. I just met Ted, Ashley, and Travis when they came through. We had a great time. You’ll have to check the blog and see what we did. Ashley was worried it was going to be too hot, but I told him that the temperature would be about 77 during the evening when we met. It’s very beautiful here, and the 90’s feel like 80’s compared to Utah. Utah is the second driest state in the nation and Arizona 3rd. But Phoenix compared to Salt Lake is 30 degrees lower humidity. It really does make a difference.

I love evenings when they are warm like that. It makes it so nice to get out for walking and visiting. It was 75 here today, but the nights are much cooler, last night in the upper 40’s.
