Tequila Anyone?
Personally, I’m a wine drinker. I recently even joined a wine club that will introduce me to some fantastic Texas wines. I’m certainly not an expert in wines, I just know that I enjoy them. When it comes to wines I know there are many varieties, they come from many different places and they are made from different types of grapes. The different grapes as well as the soils they are grown in gives each wine it’s own unique taste.
What I didn’t know until recently was that these same traits hold true for tequila. Did you know that tequila is made from the blue agave plant? I had no idea! What makes the different tequilas taste unique is the way the blue agave is harvested, the way the alcohol is fermented, the way it is distilled and the way it is aged. This probably explains the variety in prices as well. There are so many varieties of tequila to choose from. If I’m going to drink tequila, I’m going to check with [tag]The Tequila Guy[/tag] to find one that is nice and smooth with a hint of vanilla taste to it.
Cheers!
