Thanksgiving Dinner

Have you bought all your groceries for Thanksgiving yet?  It’s only one week away!  Or are you having your dinner some place other than your own home?

I’m still not sure if we’re having dinner at our place or not, my husband has a tendency to not tell me things until the last minute.  I buy all the groceries anyway, just not the turkey.  I still need to get stuffing and yams, but I think I have everything else.  I don’t buy the turkey in advance because my freezer is narrow and can’t hold a turkey.  I buy it a couple of days ahead of time and put it in my fridge until I’m ready to cook it.  

I’d say I’m about 75% ready, how about you?

    We are actually headed to the store right now. We throw a Thanksgiving for our friends this Sunday, so my weekend is going to busy shopping and watching my husband cook on Sunday!

    Kari- That’s interesting, I was sitting here this morning of doing a Thanksgiving meal for our friends next Saturday. I’ve never done that before but it seems like it would be fun. Not to mention, a great way to get more turkey leftovers!
