Hotel Reservations
Okay, now that I’ve got my sister’s airline ticket booked I can start looking at [tag]Hotel Reservations[/tag] for her & my mom as they drive out to Arizona. My mom has a little dog that travels with her so it’s important to find hotels that accept pets.
Normally my mom drives by herself with her dog and she typically decides to stop driving around dinner time. She’ll find a hotel, check in and then go find a place to eat. It helps her relax knowing she has a room to go back to. Once though, she had trouble finding a room, it was late, and dark, and the hotels were all booked up for some reason. I’m thinking it’s not a bad idea to lay out a plan on the map of how far she wants to drive in a day and then book the hotel in advance.
If we book her a room online, we can get competitive rates and know in advance that the hotel will allow her little dog. She can still use her military discount or her senior citizen discount online and I think we would all feel better knowing that she’s not out hunting for a place to sleep on her way to and from AZ.
