All I Want for Christmas is a Mantel Clock

My sister and mom are here for a quick visit on their way to Arizona. Whenever someone comes they always enjoy my [tag]grandfather clock[/tag]. It’s located in my entry hall and standing on hardwood, it can be heard from just about anywhere in the house. It chimes every 15 minutes and on the hour chimes the time. The clock originally belonged to my dad’s mom. When she passed away my dad got it and then it was given to me. I’ve had it now for about 20 years and I’ve loved having it.

My sister has a really pretty entry way to her house and I know the perfect clock for her house. It would really compliment her home decor because it’s black with a nickel finish and that really matches her style. The chimes, pendulum and clock face are all nickel. One nice feature it has that mine doesn’t have is an automatic night time chime shut off. I’m going to have to tell her to visit [tag]Howard Miller clocks[/tag] to take a look, I know she would enjoy having a grandfather clock as much as I do.

While grandfather clocks are rather expensive to be given as gifts, there are also many wall and [tag]mantel clocks[/tag] that would make very nice gifts. I certainly wouldn’t mind receiving a mantel clock for Christmas!
