Jessica - I've never had a dog that eats the items this dog eats! I was sitting here this morning thinking I need to have a basket where I can put everything I take away from her in a single day. Then when my daughter gets home from school she can see how busy her dog has been!
We try really hard to make sure things are picked up and yet she still finds items to chew on. This morning I took away a cloth key chain (I have no idea where she found it) and a plastic Barbie doll dress that she chewed the arms off of. At least I found the arms so I know she didn't swallow them!
I have her in her crate right now as I type so that she can't get hold of anything else, at the moment!
Thanks for visiting! :-D

Wow - that's truly disgusting.

I've had a few instances - especially recently of my dog eating things he shouldn't. He usually sticks to paper products which, while not desirable to me...tend to come out without too much trouble.

But, it's his first Christmas and he's absolutely fascinated with all the decorations we brought up from storage - to the point that he ate a few "petals" off my fake poinsettia plant.

Was doing some searching to see, in short, what happens when dogs eat things beyond their normal kibble. And, well, I came across your site - and am thrilled to know what I have to look forward to, if I ever see a shoe without laces :-)

Thanks for sharing this one...
