Member of the Technology Challenged
There are days when I feel like I am a somewhat intelligent, organized, individual. Then there are other days, when I can’t figure out what I’m doing. Those days usually tend to occur when I’m dealing with anything that has to do with technology.
We have a fully wireless house, makes me feel current, up-to-date, smart. Just don’t let anything go wrong, no error messages, no downtime. I can’t deal with it, I don’t know what to do. We have all sorts of technology in our home, TV, HD, video cameras, digital cameras, wireless routers, wireless mice. Just don’t let anything go wrong, other than changing a battery, I don’t know how to fix any of it.
We even have multiple MP3 players in our house. My daughter and I both have IPod Nanos, although hers is not the same generation as mine which means we can’t share files or most hardware. My husband has a couple of different MP3’s, I wouldn’t have a clue how they work. To use my Nano, my daughter does most of my downloads for me, I’m too easily frustrated. The music I have on my Nano is all from cd’s that I own. I have downloaded a few songs from the internet, but I’m not comfortable with that process, so tend to shy away from it. My daughter on the other hand seems to be able to handle both methods of getting music on her Nano. In fact, she asked for an ITunes gift card for Christmas (and got it!).
To make things even easier to stream music online we could even download a music player toolbar. For ease of use, maybe this is what I probably need to do!
