I had one dog who came out of her spaying like nothing happened and she was about 10-15 lbs. The other one came out like yours, drugged up, goes to her bed to sleep and is just lithless. She was around 25 lbs maybe its been so long ago. I think the bigger they are the worse it hurts. Poor baby. I'm more worried now about her jumping up & down on stuff and possible ripping those stitches! I wouldn't have minded a little tranquilization to bring his "excitement" down. He gets his stitches out tomorrow. Kisses to my Plinko Puppy! She has been up and around and spent quite a bit of time outside today. She's on her second big nap of the day. I'm just keeping an eye on her so she doesn't start chewing on her stitches.
