Plinko Update

Our little puggle puppy Plinko is doing so much better today. I was very worried about her when we brought her home last night, she was barely able to stand up. Even though I did manage to get her to go outside twice to use the bathroom before we went to bed and she did drink a little water, but it was her complete lack of energy that had me worried.

I took her to the vet at 8 a.m. yesterday to have her spayed and was told to pick her up after 4. Thankfully, I called before going because at 4:40 I was told she wasn’t ready and to wait at least 20 minutes. We waited until 5:30 to even leave the house and by the time we were handed Plinko, it was 6. She was so completely drugged out that she really was wobbly. We had to give her an additional pain pill at 8 (per instructions) which I’m sure didn’t help her drug induced state.

We had her sleep in her crate last night and it’s a good thing. I do think she slept pretty much through the night, but she did end up doing a little business in her crate that resulted in me washing the crate and bed this morning. When I opened her crate door this morning though, she had so much more energy than she did last night. She was wagging her tail and very happy to see us.

Plinko has spent a good part of today outside, it’s been a gorgeous day, and when she wasn’t cruising the backyard she was sleeping at my feet. I think if we can keep her from chewing on her stitches she’s going to be just fine.

To put widgets in your sidebar at Wordpress, you need to go into your admin panel (dashboard), click on Presentation, Theme Editor. Scroll down and click on Sidebar. Decide where you want it and copy and paste the code from where ever you’re getting the widget. It needs to be html code.

Good luck with your new domain.

She is such a cutie. Glad she is better. It is so hard seeing them come out of anesthesia or even being at the vet’s office. This past May my Penny had a brain lapse and decided to eat my daughters metal jacks. We had to take her in and she had to stay from Tuesday until Friday. They ended up having to remove 2 that she couldn’t get up herself. I hated seeing her there with an IV and then having to leave after her visit. She did awesome though and was glad to come home.

Oh my gosh! That’s horrible! I’m so afraid of our Plinko doing something similar, she eats EVERYTHING! Thankfully, so far, everything she has eaten has come back out, one end or the other! I’m so glad to hear that your Penny made it through the jacks incident. :-D
