Quilted Bag

I’ve been talking so much about how much my family sews and crafts I decided that I need to start sharing more pictures of what is being created in my family. My mom and sister Karen are both quilters, but my other sister Grace and I enjoy making bags. Grace also quilts and has combined those two skills in this particular bag. It’s a small zipper bag with an over the shoulder strap. This is just like the ones I made and gave as gifts to the girls on my Destination Imagination team just before Christmas, but she quilts her bags, I don’t. This particular one she kept for herself and used it when she traveled to keep her airline ticket and identification in it. I think it’s very pretty!

    Dextress – Right now I mainly sew for hobby purposes, although I have sold a few of my bags. My goal for this year is to get set up and sew enough inventory to sell more. If I’d spend less time on the computer I would get more sewing done! :-D
