One of my favorite television actresses, Suzanne Pleshette died of respiratory failure on Saturday, she was 70 years old.

Although she did quite a bit of work on Broadway, I will always remember her has the witty wife of Bob Newhart on The Bob Newhart Show. Her character had such a wonderfully dry sense of humor and it seemed to stem from Suzanne Pleshette herself. Her voice was very unique and highly recognizable and it matched her character. She will be missed.

Oh wow! I watched her on the Bob Newhart show when I was growing up (teen years). Dad was a fan of the show, so we watched it.
