Thanks Joyce! I was unsure about the colors, but once I began sewing the strips together I really liked it. I have one handle to finish and attach and the decorative buttons to put on and it will be done. Hopefully, I’ll have it finished in time for Monday’s Blogger Craft Club!

Chayil - The jelly roll was new to me too! I’m not a quilter, but when I take my mom to the quilt shop, I tend to find really neat crafting projects, not to mention amazing fabrics.

Don’t worry, I hadn’t heard of a jelly roll either until recently! I’m not the quilter, but my mom is and when she visits, I take her to the quilt shop. That’s where I discovered this bag and the “jelly roll”. I’m learning, that’s for sure!

Love the choice of fabric for both projects! I had never ever heard of a jelly roll before, can you tell I am not a quilter ((blush))? I really can’t wait to see the endresult of the first project especially, I want to learn how to quilt but right now the sewinglessons take up all my spare-energy.

Oooo, Lynne . . .I’m intrigued by the ‘jelly roll’ fabric. Have I really been out of the sewing loop so long? I honestly have not ever heard of it, nor your project type. Please educate me!
