Heather - Well, I redeemed some points I earned online yesterday for a gift card to Home Depot so that I can purchase a closet organizer. I love that my daughter was inspired to clean! Now, if I could just figure out an easier way than painting a new dresser to inspire her! :-D

I look forward to seeing your finished room. I'm always amazed at what a difference a can of paint can make!

That looks great! And isn't it wonderful that your daughter was inspired by it. You can't beat that! The double rods and shelves will really finish it off nicely, too. Wish my closet was so organized!

Thanks for stopping by! I finished the painting yesterday and hung the border, so hopefully can start moving my things in this weekend and have some "after" photos to post soon. Yeah! ;o)

Jamie - Thanks! I think my daughter, who is 11, is thrilled to finally have her own dresser! I'm slow, but I get it done eventually! :-D

Congrats on the dresser...it looks great.
Oh and thanks for stopping by my blog.
The borders are part of the blogspot program. When I upload the pictures the borders are automatic.

You are very welcome. I have a very dear friend who has experienced what you are going through. I pray that God will give you strength to fight the cancer.

Colabear - I am going to finish redoing my daughter's closet and then I will paint the walls. The previous owner had painted them a bright green, and I think we need to calm them down a bit, make it more conducive to sleeping! :-D

Dextress - I still need to measure and then go buy the stuff to rebuild her closet, but at least I'm no longer having to see all those clean clothes piled on the floor!

Thanks for coming to visit my blog. I love what you've done with the dresser. My mom and I with the help of others plan on decorating my new bedroom. We have to repaint, add new furniture and get a new mattress. We plan on getting most furniture from yard sales and places similar. So we will spend less but have to do a little extra work to fix it up.
Great Job!
