Ellen - Summer before last I went in and bought a very basic sewing machine. I like it because of it's decorative stitches. The first time I used it the bobbin casing broke apart. I traded it in for an upgraded model. This 2nd machine did small embroideries as well and I fell in love with doing that. So, I bit the money bullet and traded in for the machine I now have. I've had it for over a year and really enjoy it. The next model up is several thousand dollars more, so I think I'll be sticking with what I've got unless I win the lottery!

Someday I hope to buy an embroidery machine and a much better sewing machine. But until then, I just sew on my basic machine. When I have embroidery needs I usually take mine to a lady at Joanns Fabrics and she does it for me.

Corrin - I do love the embroidery machine! Once I get going, I tend to look for ways to embroider whatever I can! :-D
