My Dream Kitchen Makeover

My Dream Kitchen Makeover

My mom is here visiting and this morning I was having a discussion with her about my kitchen. I am the first one to admit that my kitchen is really quite large, but I also have to say, its not laid out in a very organized fashion and the counters are a harvest gold, straight out of the 70’s. The cupboards are damaged wood and really need to be refinished. This is all pretty surprising considering the house is only 6 years old, but the previous owners abused the house horribly and made it appear much older than it is. It’s a bit difficult to see in this picture, but all the wood trim is water damaged and the wood cupboards are really rough.

With my kitchen in mind, and after reading the official rules, I’m going to enter to win the $20,000 Home Makeover in the Renuzit TriScents Transform Your Home Promotion. If I won, I’d replace all the the counter tops with granite and have all the wood refinished. I’d also love to replace the island with a more useful shaped island and move the pantry closer to the cooking area. As a bonus, I’d install all stainless steel appliances, including a wine refrigerator.

It’s so easy to get started by first downloading a coupon to take with me to the grocery store to get a sample of Renuzit TriScents to use at home. Then, I can either submit a video or write an essay about why my kitchen needs a makeover and how Renuzit TriScents can help me. This is a win, win situation in my mind because I like having my home smell good and the Renuzit TriScents will help me with that. Then if I win the contest, my kitchen will look good too!

If any part of your home is in need of a makeover, check it out for yourself.

That’s beautiful. The paint is peeling off my cabinets, so it may be time for an overhaul.

I just can into your site while looking for kitchen overhaul information, I can’t believe this kitchen is so new, yet so awful. I have been looking around at houses lately and have come to the conclusion that builders don’t hire designers, they just throw sample chips in a bucket and pull something out. Good luck with the contest!

I like your kitchen as it is, I love the wood. Funnily enough although granite popular I cannot stand it.

~sigh~ our grocery stores will not accept printed off coupons from the web. Too much fraud, I guess.

Although I could REALLY use a make over.. so I can sell my house! I have a few things that need to be spiffed up.. my dogs have pretty much destroyed my floors.. they joys of having 400 lbs of dog running amok.
