Interesting Jobs

I took my daughter to the library the other day and I noticed that every single computer with internet access was occupied. It makes me wonder who these people are that are in the library using the internet, I guess they don’t have service at home, or maybe their computers are in for service.

I wandered around and looked at the screens. I was curious about what people were researching. There were several students working on projects online or doing research. But there were also several people either in chat rooms or checking out online videos. Okay, these people need to get a job. It’s the middle of the day and they need to be at work!

Okay, maybe they don’t want to go flip burgers or work for a lawn service. Maybe they’re wanting something more exciting, I don’t know, how about the life of an international DJ? That would be exciting! I saw a guy watching a video from housemusictv.com about the life of famed DJ Lee Kalt and thought how much fun it would be to create new house music mixes for clubs worldwide, especially if I were younger!

What kind of job would you have if you could choose anything and anywhere in the world?

If I could afford it I would travel the world and teach for free.

Maybe the folks at the library are like my friend Talyn, who drives cabs all night, herding the drunks safely home! :)

If I could do anything, I’d be traveling. Walking. Looking, experiencing, wandering! If I HAD to work, I’d prefer to put my energies into my own land, making food, tending animals and bees, etc. etc. and so forth. :)

(got here through entrecard, by the way!)

I have also noticed that too when we go to the Library. It is sooo strange! My son and I did not have internet for about 1.5 years due to the money situtation. Luckily I had my job that lets me do my blogging and whatnot. But seriously, I think they should get a job as well ! dont get me started on that issue! If a person really wants a job, they can get one, sure it might be at Micky D’s, but its a job people ! ! ! !

    Chris’s last blog post..Friday ! Wee hee !

Amber – If I drove cabs all night, I think I’d be in bed during the day! :-D

I think spending our time traveling and wandering would be a wonderful thing to do. There are so many beautiful things to see in this world!

Chris – I know a lot of people use the library because they don’t have internet at home. It was just weird seeing people on the web in such a public place doing private things. Of course, it doesn’t help that there are a limited number of computers at the library either and that they’re free. I’m sure there is a time limit, I just didn’t notice.

One of the reason [eople who use the computer in the library is to take a break from studying or reading. I do that when I am in the library studying. As for my dream job, I would travel the world and taste different cuisines because there are so many great food in the world that have not been tasted yet.
