To all of my U.S. readers, I wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day!

I hope you find time to spend with friends and family. We were able to do that yesterday and spent the day hanging around our swimming pool.

As my own dad was a veteran, I ask that everyone take a few moments at least to remember all of those who have served our country over our history, including those who are currently serving, all across the world.

    I am wishing you a good Memorial Day, I am Canadian but I am thinking about all of the brave men and women serving. My son-in-law is serving in Afghanistan right now, my prayers are with them all. Thank you for dropping in on my blog, I appreciate it. Take care.

    Thank you so much for this. I am American and it is very hard to be an American right now thanks to our soon to be gone current president. So many around the world hate us.

    This brought tears to my eyes. We are trying so very hard over here in America to make changes in our government. We want peace and an end to the current insanity that reigned over us for the last 8 years.

    My son-in-law just got back from Iraq this month. But, so many from so many countries have lost their lives.
