Feeling Safe and Secure?

Feeling Safe and Secure?

Recently I’ve begun selling some of my fabric bags from my website. During these transactions, there is quite a bit of personal information exchanged. This can be cause for concern, and I’m glad there are payment services out there that can handle the payment part of the transaction and keep that safe. I hate having to think about fraud whenever there is a transaction, but I think that comes with the territory.

Don’t get me wrong, I have faith in people and believe that people purchasing my products are good people. However, I didn’t just fall off the turnip truck, I do know that bad things happen and I do what I can to protect myself. One way to do that is by using the services of life lock for identity theft protection. I believe it’s important to protect my good name after all.

What do you do to protect your identity?

I’m not overly concerned with identity theft, perhaps because I have a unique name. I made the decision to be very accessible via the internet and as such have a lot of personal information out there for everyone to read. Having said that, I use Paypal for all of my online purchases or a credit card that has a low limit if Paypal isn’t accepted. I realize there are risks in life and choose to be careful without fretting or stressing.

Kent - I agree, we can’t stress about things the “might” happen. It’s not a bad idea though to take precautions, things like using a cc with a low limit which you all ready do. I do the same thing.

Elizabeth - Thanks! The op said to incorporate it into the theme of your blog, so I did my best to do just that. :-D
Of course you can buy a fabric bag! I’ve just posted pictures on my blog of the ones I currently have available. I have two more that I’m trying to finish today that are more of a fabric purse.
