Fabric Bags For Sale

posted in sewing |

Several of my readers have asked to see what bags I have for sale. As I’m just starting to get them listed in my Etsy shop, I’ve decided to post what I have available here. If you’re interested in anything, leave me a comment and I will contact you via email with specific detail of the bag you are interested in. I have several more in the works that I hope to finish in the next day or two and will post those pictures when I’m finished.

These are so cute Lynne! If you ever run into some “pink ribbon” fabric, I’d love one of your bags to carry my 3-Day and training stuff.

Laurie - I have actually made a couple of breast cancer bags in the past for individuals who are battling the disease. There is quite a bit of great fabric out there, I’ll see if I can get my hands on some more of it. Let me know if there is a particular style you like and features you would want. When is the race?

The first and second bags you have posted are my favorite. It looks like they are the same. I also like the black and white one with the pocket on the front. I’m not picky though. :) My second Race for the Cure is in October and the 3-Day is November 7-9.

Lisa - Thanks! If you’re interested, that particular bag measures approx. 16″w x 14″h x 4″d. It has a zippered top closure, is fully lined and has 4 interior pockets. It’s a great tote bag, one of my favorites! It’s currently on sale for $35.

Since Gas is outragous, we have been walking to the Store. Do you have anything that would hold groceries, like Milk and the lot ? I have a million boring old canvas bags that are totally hammered, so I now want a nice one to shop with, but it has to be pretty big :)

I think I’m going to start look for some nice canvas fabric to make grocery totes. I’d like to find some nice prints so they’re not all boring. I’ll let you know if I get something. I think the cotton we’re using right now is good, but for groceries we would want something more heavy weight and durable.

Hi. It’s nice to stumble upon someone who enjoys making bags. I make bags too though it’s been months since I last made my last one. From these pictures, I like the black & white one and the flip flop motif one. Most of the fabrics I have for these sorts of project here where I live are part polyester and part cotton. Please do visit my blog for photos of my projects. Hope to see more of your creations.
