I recently took an 800 km road trip and I figured out that it would have cost more if I had taken my Harley Davidson motorcycle than it cost for me to drive my Chevy Aveo. Motor Scooters are much more fuel efficient than motorcycles and some of the larger ones (those over 250cc) are highway legal. They still get about 60 mpg so they are definitely a good deal. Plus they carry a lot of luggage too. Don’t assume that a motorcycle is necessarily cheaper to drive than a fuel efficient car.

I was using it as training wheels for a motorcycle! I'm taking my motorcycle safety course next month and will hopefully be crusin' around town on my bike by the end of July! I say, DO IT! My sister on the other hand, not only owns and drives her own, she also works at a Harley Davidson store and writes a newsletter for their motorcycle club.
