waterrose - I'm hoping it's a simple fix as well. I won't be able to take it in for a few weeks, but at least I can still use the sewing machine to sew. I'd be up a creek without a paddle right now otherwise!

happy - My embroidery unit attaches to my sewing machine, so, since it is having issues, I have removed it, set it aside, and will take it in to the shop in a few weeks when I can afford to be without my sewing machine. I'm participating in a craft booth sale next weekend, so I'm sewing like crazy right now. Hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg to get it fixed when I do take it in.

sweetpea - I was very frustrated with the embroidery feature. I am doing a booth sale next weekend and needed a few things done. Oh well, I'm working around it. At least I can still sew with the machine and I'm doing a lot of that right now!

Kim - Thanks, I definitely will have to have the embroidery arm looked at. I just can't be without my sewing machine right now, so it will have to wait. Maybe after our craft sale next week I can take it in.

I cringed as I was reading your post. Best of luck to you and I'll hope that it's a simple fix.

I can't sew for peanuts but I feel your frustration. Hope this sorts itself out soon.

Sounds like a major repair, hand sew and no embroidery until it is fixed, that stinks. Could have been worse.....better than a whole new machine needed!

It sounds frustrating. I know what it feels like when you have an order and then you have equipment failure. It's not fun. Hope you can get it resolved soon.

Hopefully it won't be too expensive to fix.
