Baby, It’s Hot Outside

Baby, It’s Hot Outside

As you know, I’ve just returned from 2 weeks of a road trip that took me from Dallas, through Tennesse and Kentucky and then on to Atlanta before returning home. The temperatures at home were in the 90’s when I left and weren’t too much different in all of the areas we visited. Upon returning home on Saturday, Dallas has been 100+ degrees every day. I just have to say, I have been thankful every day that our van has good air conditioning.

Our van is 8 years old though, so before I ever left home, my husband took the van to the shop and had everything checked out, including the air conditioning compressor. If we had needed any parts for the a/c, I would hope that our service center would utilize www.discountacparts.com, where they carry parts for all makes and models of vehicles. Plus, they warranty all of their parts and ship for free. Thankfully, other than some coolant, we didn’t need any auto a/c parts and the a/c compressor was running just fine.

If you find your vehicle needs any a/c parts, you may want to give discountacparts.com a visit.

We haven’t had these high temps in two years. Last summer it wasn’t bad at all. We might have had 2 100+ days. They said on the weather today that it hasn’t been this hot in Dallas in over two years. I am so ready for fall and the cold weather.

Good to know about the air conditioner products. I don’t like extreme hot or cold so good luck and hopefully it will cool off soon! We finally have a break the last couple of days here in Kansas City.

It’s extremely hot weather here too. So far, only one room was air-conditioned, now we are going to get our working room air-conditioned. The weather today is unpredictable.

Heidi – I don’t do well in the heat, so I’m choosing to stay indoors. Today is overcast and the temperatures feel better.

I had no idea you were in KC. My husband was born and raised there. We get back there every few years or so.

Atniz – This morning was overcast and it seemed to be blocking some of the heat. I found it refreshing to be able to stand outside and enjoy the morning for a change!

Ellen – I heard pretty much the same thing. The news last night said that Dallas averages 16 days per year with 100 degree temperatures. Yesterday was our 19th day this year. This morning felt like such a relief!
