Creative Freelance Work

I am so thankful that sewing has provided me an outlet for my creativity and, I’ve been able to earn some money from selling what I create. I’ve also been blessed to have discovered blogging, another outlet for another type of creativity, writing. On occasion, I’ve even been fortunate enough to get paid for my writing. Yes, the internet has opened up new ways for me and many others to earn money.

This really points out to me how much I need to learn! I don’t know what most of the projects even are. My skills are so out of date that they can’t be called skills anymore. I’m putting my son back in school this year (maybe, it’s not working so well so far) and will try to concentrate on being able to do something besides answer phones (which I don’t like) or work a cash register!

TMinut – If you’re blogging, and I know you are, your skills aren’t as out of date as you may think! I know how you feel though, I shy away from jobs because I think I’m not qualified. I’ve been out of the work force too long.
