Order Up a Wii

posted in family, kids |

We gave our daughter a Wii in June and she is completely hooked on it! My husband, who is not a gamer at all, has even enjoyed playing games with her. We all love the fact that the remotes are wireless and sense your movements. I was never any good at handling those remotes with all the buttons, my reaction times are just too slow.

I know I should be sewing, but instead, my daughter and I spent several hours last night playing Wii. We enjoy several of the Mario games and Big Brain Academy. I have to laugh though, one of my daughter’s favorite games on Big Brain involves taking restaurant orders and remembering the order. If it’s a memory game, it’s not for me!

I know we need to get a few more games, we need a little more variety.

I just heard of a new game for Wii called Order Up! and I really think it sounds like a winner. The players have to learn how to run a restaurant and do everything from the cooking, to managing the different cooking stations and the assistant chefs. There are different restaurant types to manage, everything from fast food to fine dining. This game is designed specifically for Wii and utilizes the sensor technology that we all find so enjoyable. Click to check out the Order Up! Trailer. Order Up! is rated E for everyone. :-D

Lynn - I had tried to get a Wii since it first came out and never could get my hands on one. One morning, I had an email that an online company had them in stock. I wasted no time ordering it and am so glad I did! Now, I need to get my hands on a Wii Fit so maybe I could get some exercise! LOL

I love the Wii!!! This looks like a neat game. I want the Wii Fit also. Have you heard of swaptree? I’ve traded 3 games already and all it cost me was the price of shipping the game out. Read my post here:
