Build Your Business

I don’t know about you, but I am always curious about finding ways to make money, and, in particular, ways to make money doing something I enjoy. My most recent endeavor has been through sewing. It’s something I love doing and would love to make money doing it. Of course, I have made some money, but certainly not enough to support myself.

I’m always intrigued by the people out there who are making the big money and who talk about how easy it is to do what they’ve done. I probably need to be more aggressive about learning new things and then using that knowledge to make it profitable. That’s exactly what Shawn Casey and Spencer Knudson have done. Now, they want to share their knowledge for free.

Their expertise is in the area of list building and that’s precisely how they’ve made their money. Visit the The ListBuilding Club website to watch the first free video and learn why they want to share their information with the world. Then, simply provide your name and a valid email address and they will send you more free videos with cutting edge information to get you on your way to earning money.

Now, if I can just apply what they teach me to my sewing!

Good morning! Have you joined any networks in our area to promote your sewing business? I belong to several and they have been helpful. Drop me a line if you’re interested and we can connect in person. I’d love the opportunity to find out more about your business and what I could do to help promote you.

And yes, Roady is from around here! We were shocked when we first spotted him (her??) about a year ago. He primarily hangs out in my back neighbor … across the alley from me. But he’s actually come close to our front door. It’s amazing to watch him. I guess there are enough lizards and whatever else they eat to keep him around. I wonder if they eat June bugs ‘cuz we didn’t have as many as we did last year!

I saw a couple of wild turkeys when jogging on Parker road a few years back. In fact, they started chasing me … they were really mean little things. I reminded them that they taste better than chicken.

Hilary – I think I’m at the stage that I don’t know what I want to do with my sewing. I love creating tote bags and purses, but I haven’t found a good, consistent way to sell what I make.
A job opportunity has opened up and so, beginning Monday, I will be going back to work, part time. Initially, this will limit my sewing time, but after the first few months, hopefully I’ll be able to balance it all and have the best of both worlds, if that’s possible.
I would enjoy meeting you, I think we’re only a couple of miles apart, and hearing your thoughts and ideas.
