Not So Wordless Wednesday

posted in sewing |

I purchased this fabric panel yesterday, do you recognize it? It’s Eric Carle’s, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, one of my very favorite childrens authors. I also purchased coordinating fabrics and a pattern to make a twin size quilt for my granddaughter. I have all of it cut out and hope to sew it together tomorrow when I have more time. I currently trying to hunt down a backing fabric of the little caterpillars, it’s so cute, and very hard to find.

Don’t you just love this!?

That is cool! I love all the colors in it and remember that story from when I used to teach first grade. When our grandson is older, I’ll probably be reading that to him. :)

Thanks Kim! I’ve been searching online and in a few local quilt shops. I also had my mom and sister searching in the Indianapolis area yesterday (any excuse to go fabric shopping)! Still no luck, but I’m not giving up!
