Yesterday was a Bust

Well, as I posted yesterday, I had a lot to get done and even had a to-do list with great intentions.  In the end though, I don’t feel like I accomplished too much.  I did indeed make it to the post office and got the state inspection done on our van, with a car wash thrown in as a bonus.

After that, the day sort of fell apart.  I spent quite a bit of time driving around town going from quilt shop to quilt shop, only to not find the fabric I needed.   I did manage to pick up a couple of specialty buttons I need for a Christmas project, but no fabric.  After stopping for groceries, I came home and got lucky, I found the fabric I was looking for online at a shop located on an island in Puget Sound!  I immediatley ordered it and it’s been shipped and I will hopefully have it in the next couple of days.  I’ll show more of that once I have it.

In the end, I guess it would have been more productive, less time consuming and more cost efficient to have stayed home and done my shopping online!
