My nephew and his fiance are getting married next July. They’ve been planning all of the wedding details for quite some time now, but I wonder if his fiance has her bachelorette party plans made. I might need to find out who the maid of honor is and ask her. I just found out about this great piano bar and it would be a blast to be there.

A friend of a friend was telling me about a
Hollywood bachelorette party and it sounded like everyone had had so much fun, I checked into it and discovered that the piano bar where they’d held the party is called “Howl At The Moon” and, they have 14 locations around the country, including one in Indianapolis which is where my nephew’s wedding will be. It’s perfect!
What makes this piano bar stand out is the dueling baby grand pianos on stage. Throughout the evening, there are always 2 piano players playing and creating excitement. Every hour, two additional piano players come out on stage and the four of them play 2-3 songs together. During the foursome, other instruments might be played such as a saxophone or guitar. This transitions into the next duo of dueling piano players for the next hour. This continues through the evening.
The staff of Howl At The Moon gets into the act as well. There are choreographed routines to well known theme songs and commercials that gets the audience involved and keeps the energy level up.
I definitely need to make sure my nephew knows about this place, if he doesn’t all ready!

I received this in an email and since I can totally relate to this one, I found it rather funny. Thought I’d share.
Question:
How many women with MENOPAUSE does it take to change a light bulb?
Woman’s Answer:
One!
ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don’t even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out.
And, once they figured it out, they wouldn’t be able to find the #&%!* light bulbs despite the fact that they’ve been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS!
But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, TWO DAYS LATER the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!!
AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE FREAKING LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!!
IT’S A WONDER WE HAVEN’T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!!
IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL!!

I started my new job on Monday, and, so far am enjoying it. I think the toughest thing to get used to so far has been getting myself organized in the morning and then dealing with the traffic that is now my commute. Thankfully, by the time I leave the house at 8:30, most of the rush hour traffic is gone and the only problems I’ve run into so far have been a result of construction projects around the area.
I’ve all ready had to find a new route from my house to the highway due to a new shopping center that is being built nearby. The contractor is redoing the road that leads into the shopping center, adding turn lanes and such, so it creates quite a back up of traffic in that area. They’re also installing new utility poles and those run pretty much right along the roadside and so the crews and their construction trucks are all over the place.
I recently drove past a Bucket Truck Rental shop and most of their trucks were gone, out on the job no doubt. It’s no wonder with all of the construction going on around here! The bucket trucks are out doing the utility pole and line work while the winch trucks, cable trailers and tensioners are installing underground utilities and cables. Then you have the dump trucks and cement trucks who are installing new curbs, parking lots and roads. Our skyline is now filled with cranes lifting all those steal beams to build the shopping centers.
I’m sure the construction won’t be done before I’m done with training, so I’ll stick to my new alternate route. Once the construction is done though, I’m going to have some great places to shop AND I’ll have a paycheck that will allow me to do just that!
