You need to replace the filter every 3 months, so it's very conveniente, and the replacement filters are just $20 x 2.... The design is GREAT!! Easy to carry and even goes through Airport check out places as it's empty and you can just fill it out inside. Save so much money already. I give it to everyone as a gift as it's priced right! and Earth friendly.. Also w/ every purchase you donate $1 to Earthshare. Just a great idea!! Can't live without it. That being said, in Arizona the Arsenic levels in water are 25 ppb, which is the legal limit that is safe by the government, scientists have shown that even arsenic levels at 25ppb are shown to cause cancer and other health ailments over 10+ years of sustained intake. The entire state is trying to revamp their water supply to bring the arsenic levels to a lower level, the government is about to change it to 50ppb I think.
