fatiah – Sounds like your job at NWA is very similar to what I was training to do with Hilton, taking reservations. I was really hoping it would work out because I would be working from home so it wouldn’t take away from any of our other activities. Oh well, I’ll just wait and see what comes up next, in the mean time, I’m sewing like crazy!

I'm really sorry to hear that.I guess it's not so bad as you are not the breadwinner.Things in Singapore is not too good either with many jobs outsourced to other countries with cheaper labor cost or given to cheaper foreign workers. And many American airlines not doing too well has outsourced their reservations to Asia. I can understand the bitterness of the Americans losing their jobs to us. For your info I have been employed with NWA for 6 months here to handle the reservations but if the US economy gets worse, they will probably close Singapore office and transfer to cheaper Asian countries. Right now my employer try to make every single cent worth by measuring our work quantity and quality. It's quite stressful and I'm not sure I can stay long. Thanks Carole – I just hope this economy starts turning around soon, after getting our recent IRA statements in the mail yesterday, on top of losing my new job, I’m not sure how much more we can take!
