Let us know how the mail forwarding thing goes if you choose to use it. I used to be in charge of international shipping for a medical products company. We'd send anything from a 6" cube weighing on a pound to container loads of product overseas. It was quite a learning experience. Mail forwarding was one thing we never did do since we had direct discounted account with most of the expediters. I've never tried this for personal shipping though. I'd be interested to hear your experiences.
