I Voted – Have You Cast Your Ballot?

I did it!  I got up early this morning and, after dropping my daughter off at school for early morning band sectionals, I went directly to city hall and cast my vote for President.  I was so surprised at how busy it was at 7:15 this morning, but, then again, they were lined up at city hall on Saturday, so I think a lot of people are just trying to avoid the crowds on November 4.

So, have you cast your ballot?

I haven’t voted yet, we don’t have early voting where I live, except for absentee ballots that can be mailed in early.

I will be voting though! You couldn’t pay me to miss out on this vote. :-D

Good for you. You are already done with your obligation to your country. I am new here in the US and obviously, I dont have that right yet to vote. But from where I came from we only vote during the election day. I am truly amazed here. This is the first time I realized that you can vote early and without waiting for the election day.

Shelly – This is the first time I’ve ever lived someplace that did early voting. It’s a nice feeling to know I’ve done my thing and can now move on. Of course, I have to wait a while to see the results!

Ruthi – This is my first time to participate in “early” voting, I’ve never lived anywhere that offered it before.
