I’ve probably got more picture of this dog on my hard drive than of any other thing, I just can’t bring myself to delete any of them. I have had a lot of people ask me what kind of sewing machine I use, so I thought I would post a photo of my machine. It is a Viking Platinum 955E and it’s about 2 years old. It is a sewing and embroidery machine, although, I haven’t been doing much embroidery lately. I bought the machine new and have sewn more since getting it than I’d sewn in my entire life. It is due for a cleaning, but I can’t seem to part with it long enough for it to be cleaned!

The election is over, now we can focus on the upcoming holidays.  No more political ads to suffer through, now it’s time to be bombarded with all the ads telling us what we want for holiday presents!  Truthfully, I’m not really looking forward to this holiday season, mainly because our household is certainly feeling the effects of the declining economy in our household. I was planning on using the money I earned from my part time job to buy our holiday gifts, but, I was laid off. My husband’s company canceled all bonuses for last quarter and, more than likely this quarter as well. So, as it turns out, we really aren’t going to have the extra money to buy all the extra gifts that we usually have under the tree.

With the economy being the way it is, I’m definitely going to be looking for the best bargains and bargain hunting includes discount coupons for all of my holiday shopping. I really do plan on using coupons for everything I buy. I all ready save money with grocery coupons, so why not save money with store coupons for holiday gift items? My daughter is hoping to get a couple of new Wii games and maybe a new camera and some other small electronics. I’ve got a coupon for Target that I can use for anything on my daughter’s wish list making my job much easier.

Strategic and well planned holiday shopping on my part will lead to a happy Christmas morning for everyone in my house!  How about you, will you be spending less this holiday season?

I thought you might like to see what happens when I sit down to drop my Entrecards. I tend to do my drops in the early afternoon which seems to coincide with the time of day our dog wants to get lazy and take a good nap.  Her eyes were closed and she was in a deep sleep until I reached for the camera.  She is a dog who wants to be right with you at all times, a super cuddler. She also likes to lay her head on my laptop and has a tendency to inadvertently press buttons, driving me crazy! She keeps me company during the day though and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
