Always Dress Before Leaving the House
When I got up this morning, I had the best of intentions. I started by going through a few bins of baby clothes (my daughter is now 12) and sorting into donate and sell piles. I then cleaned up my sewing room and organized a few upcoming projects. My plan for the rest of the day involved working on a holiday sewing project, I really had no plans to leave the house. With that in mind, when I got dressed this morning, I put on my oldest and most comfy pair of jeans, an old sweatshirt and very little makeup and set myself to work.
Not too long after getting started on my sewing project, I realized I was in need of some interfacing in order to correctly do the applique’ on my project, so I decided to make a quick run to the fabric store and back. So, I threw on a pair of shoes, grabbed my car keys and headed out.
I’m sure you can guess what happened next. Yes, I ran into someone I know! AACCCKKKKK!
I don’t know that many people around here, and truthfully, because I have a terrible memory, if she hadn’t recognized me, I wouldn’t have know it was her. I’m so happy she did though and even happier that she called out my name! Who was it you ask? It was none other than Carolyn of Pink Lemonade Bags and creator of some wonderful bags, one of which I’m currently carrying as my purse.
