My Daughter is an Action AllStar

I got an email from my daughter’s coach, the team is going to start having batting practices again beginning Monday and that means regular practices aren’t far behind. Then will be games and tournaments and we’ll be in for the full blown season. We’ve all had the last few weeks off and it’s felt really good. Funny thing though, softball is never out of our house because we’ve discovered that we can play online. Well, it’s not softball, but baseball and it is just as fun!

tutlezTo keep us busy, we’ve discovered ActionAllStars.com, an online gaming site that has partnered with MLB.com and NBA.com to bring baseball and basketball right to our computer screens. It’s a really cool site and the first thing you do is create your player. The player you see is my daughter’s creation and she named it Turtlez. The Action AllStars website is alot of fun.  When you create your action character you get to choose between quite a few hairstyles, some for boys, some for girls and different hair colors.  It’s hard to see, but Turtlez does have a ponytail! I think they could’ve come up with a little more feminine sports attire, like maybe a tank top or something to make the character look like a girl, but then, that’s just my opinion.

The games are fun and I can so see us becoming addicted to this game which might actually come in handy during the off season.  Of course, the basketball game is great too and will help keep us all busy on those rainy days when we can’t use the hoop out in the driveway.

Seriously, if you enjoy sports and you enjoy online games, be sure to check out ActionAllStars.com and be sure to keep you eye out for Turtlez!

I signed my daughters up to be Action All Stars, too… we’ll look for you online. My girls’ avatar is LondonMaddie… little blonde pigtails in red shirt & sneaks.

So far, we haven’t gotten very far, but I’ll leave the kids to figure it out and have a good time while we’re snowed in this weekend.

The things they come up with these days.

Video games are a good way to develop motor skills, which come in handy for softball.

I actually saw the character created for your Action Allstars and thought it was very cute! I like how the girl’s names have been combined. :-D
