Advances in Medicine

The medical field never ceases to amaze me and I’d like to share a recent event with you.

I have a very dear friend who, many years ago while in her early 30’s, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She didn’t let it get her down, completed every single treatment her doctors recommended and took every precaution. Eventually, to the joy of everyone, she was declared cancer free. 5 years later, the cancer returned, with a vengeance.

I can’t even begin to describe how devastated we all were at hearing of her diagnosis. The cancer had spread and she even had tumors on her brain. The prognosis did not sound good, and yet, my friend maintained her positive outlook. As she says, it wouldn’t help anyone, least of all herself, to be depressed and feel sorry for herself. I can only hope that I would have such an attitude if I were in her shoes.

The various medical test and procedures that she goes through, although not always easy, are amazing. She recently had to have a PET scan done and it was able to pinpoint a minute spot on her liver that the disease had traveled to, amazing! Because of that, they were able to make a very educated decision on treatment options. I am truly thankful to the medical field for searching so diligently for a cure. While we don’t yet have that cure, they are sure coming up with new and better ways of battling this and other diseases.

In fact, I was recently reading a few C’Elle Testimonials and I’ve discovered that there is research currently taking place to see how stem cells that are found naturally in menstrual blood can be used to treat diseases like heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and the one I’m really focused on, breast cancer.

C’Elle has patented technology for collecting the menstrual blood using an easy to use collection kit. For example, it would be possible for me to use the collection kit myself and have C’Elle store it for me. Then, if in the future, I or my daughter was diagnosed with any of the above diseases, it might be possible to use those stem cells from my sample, to treat our very own disease! Also, in the future, C’Elle and researchers will be looking at treating other diseases including MS and Parkinson’s.

I feel that I may just have to Order C’elle Now because the possibilities are all but endless.  I do want to share, if placing an order now, you will receive a special price of $499 for the Annual Plan (a $200 savings) and a limited-edition rhinestone engraved C’elle satchel (use code: CNB200 when ordering, offer ends on January 31, 2009) which is an added, pretty bonus.
